Kyla began her new life with her new family, and school, since she
has been slated.
When she leaves the hospital from being slated,
she is sent home with a new family. She is introduced to her Mom, Dad, and her
older sister Amy, and not long after, introduced to Amy’s friends. A few days
after that, she is sent to her new school, where Nurse Penny holds a group for
other kids who are slated.
